Integra Support Partners – Transition StrategistsMy journey to this point has been filled with many ups and downs. With the knowledge and experience gained over 50 years, I determined to live my life with a view to always challenging the norm, never settling for second best.
This feeling was endorsed when I got involved in the pinnacle of motorsport Formula One. I spent four of the most insightful and fulfilling years in the sport from 2010 – 2014, working with extremely talented individuals, multiple world champions and a team that never wavered in the belief of being the very best they could be. That feeling itself sat well with me. My role was a unique one having moved from being a race team ‘truckie’ to working in the marketing department operating in a Management and driver support role.
My role was unique for this reason, I worked with the likes of Ross Brawn, Michael Schumacher, Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton and latterly Niki Lauda, not only on a professional level, but on a personal level, understanding the type of mentality winners have, what they did on a day to day basis that made them different, that gave them the edge. This wasn’t only limited to these individuals, but I was fortunate enough to also assist celebrity guests and family members of them and the team.
After winning the World Championship with the Mercedes AMG Petronas team in 2014, I decided to break away and work with teams and individuals both within and outside of sport to share with them some of those winning insights I’d gained from these great people.
Align those experiences with other skills gained over many years from Sales, Electrical Engineering, qualified Air Conditioning design engineer, running a successful property refurbishment business and fully qualified fitness instructor as well as public speaking from the age of 12, I had all the ingredients for Integra Support Partners Transition Strategist model.
